Is oral minoxidil safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. Oral minoxidil is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you're nursing or pregnant, your Tuyo doctor will discuss timing with you, may recommend nutritional or other support for now, and gives you a clear plan for when you're ready to start oral minoxidil after nursing.

Oral minoxidil is a once-daily pill that works systemically; topical minoxidil like Rogaine® is a liquid or foam applied to the scalp twice a day.
