Is compound Tirzepatide FDA- Approved?

No, compounded tirzepatide itself is not FDA-approved. However, it can be legally prescribed and prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies—especially when a patient’s needs aren’t met by standard, commercially available doses.

Can I start on a higher dose?
